.NAME Domain Name Registrations

Launched in 2001, the .NAME universal extension is the only one planned for personal sites only. These domains can be personal or fictional names, nicknames and/or other titles people are known by. Initially, solely third-level registrations were allowed, so if you planned to secure john.doe.name, you had to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were loosened and 2nd-level registrations were also allowed. Already purchased 3rd-level names remained functional.

Through our firm, you can register your .NAME domain for a time interval between one and ten years. You will have the opportunity to update the WHOIS information, to park your domain, to edit Custom DNS records, etc. You can also move over an already registered domain to our company if you get its EPP transfer code from the current registration service provider and we will renew it when the transfer has been finalized. There are no special terms on who can acquire a .NAME domain, but in order to preserve the objective behind its establishment alive, the dot NAME Registry may check who the Registrant is and if there is no connection between the owner and the actual domain, the registration could be challenged.

The dot NAME generic domain name extension is one of the extensions that support internationalized domains, so we can also register a domain in any language at no further cost. In this way, your dot NAME domain will be recognized in your country or region with the proper spelling in your local language.

.NAME Domains with Nom Savior
